The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce waiting restrictions (Double Yellow Lines) at any time between numbers 4 and 16 Manston Access Road (at the point of the new roundabout) in Margate, Thanet:-
Manston Road – (1) On its west side from the boundary of 3/4 Manston Road for a distance of 17 meters in a southerly direction. (2) On its east side opposite the southern boundary of number 6 Manston Road for a distance of 11 metres in a north and north easterly direction. (3) On its west side 6 metres south of the boundary of 15/16 Manston Road for a distance of 13 metres in a southerly direction. (4) On its east side opposite number 15 Manston Road for a distance of 14 metres in a south easterly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
