Main Road, Edenbridge in Sevenoaks - Amendment 33: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the current speed limit to 40mph on Main Road in Edenbridge, Sevenoaks. This would be from a point 56 metres northwest of its junction with Homestead Road for a distance of 328 metres in a north westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
