Lower Chantry Lane, Longport in the District of Canterbury - Parallel Crossing
Kent County Council are planning to provide a new parallel crossing on Lower Chantry Lane at the junction with Longport, Canterbury.
The scheme will include:
• Formalisation of the existing parallel crossing on Lower Chantry Lane.
• New anti-skid surfacing to be installed 50m south and to the roundabout approach north of the new crossing.
Works will commence on 3 August 2026 and will take around 3 weeks to complete.
