This order has now been made and due to the new consolidation order for Ashford and the change to the map based orders, it has been renumbered into Amendment 11. The Made Order details can be found in the important links section. 


The effect of this made Order will be to introduce and amend the existing double yellow lines across the entrance to a new development on The Long Barrow in Ashford.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
