London Road, Swanley in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 51: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to amend existing waiting restrictions (double yellow lines) on London Road (B2173) in Swanley in the District of Sevenoaks:

  • on both sides from its junction with London Road (southern junction entrance to Moreton Industrial Estate) for its entire length (including the side road into the new bus lane)
  • on the east side from its southern junction with London Road (southern junction entrance to Moreton Industrial Estate) for a distance of 31 metres in a southerly direction.

This order is being made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
