We would like to hear your views on our emerging Local Transport Plan.
Your feedback will help us to understand the transport challenges faced in Kent and ensure our ambition for the future of Kent’s transport network is stretching but realistic, focusing on the right outcomes and objectives to make journeys better within our county whilst supporting the delivery of net zero by 2050.
Your feedback will also help us to develop proposals for how and where in Kent we should focus on improving transport.
We want to hear from everyone who wants to have their say about whether the emerging plan is proposing the the right ambition and the right policy outcomes and objectives to achieve this ambition.
We also want to hear what actions you think we should take, either on a countywide basis or in different places of Kent to meet our objectives.
You can tell us your views by completing the online questionnaire, which is available from this webpage.
Once we have considered the feedback we receive, our aim is that the full draft Local Transport Plan, which will be consulted on next year, will illustrate where in Kent our priorities are for delivering improvements.
We strongly encourage you to respond to this initial consultation and not wait until we have the full draft plan. This current consultation is at an earlier stage in the development process of the Local Transport Plan and receiving your feedback now will give us a better opportunity to consider your comments as we develop the rest of the plan.
