Lanthorne Road, Broadstairs in the District of Thanet - Amendment 6: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this made Order will be to introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of roads in Broadstairs in the District of Thanet - double yellow lines waiting to be prohibited at any time:-
- Bishops Avenue – on the south side from the junction with Kings Avenue for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction
- Kings Avenue – (1) on the east side from the junction with Bishops Avenue for a distance of 40 metres in a southerly direction (2) on the west side to a point 25 metres north and to a point 12 metres south of the junction with Kings Close (3) on the west side remove the school keep clear markings
- Kings Close – (1) on both sides of the junction with Kings Avenue for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction (2) on both sides of the junction with Lanthorne Road for a distance of 10 meters in a southerly direction
- Lanthorne Road – (1) on the south side to a point 43 metres west and to a point 51 metres east of the junction with Lanthorne Court (2) on the south side to remove the school keep clear markings
- Lanthorne Place – on both sides of its junction with Lanthorne Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
This order has been made for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
