The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the national speed limit to a 40MPH speed limit on Britannia Road, Chart Road, Long Length, Pound Lane and The Haven in Kingsnorth, Ashford.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
