We've refreshed our Adult support websites - tell us what you think!
In December 2022, we launched a new look Kent Connect to Support website. This website provides answers to common questions, along with information and advice to help people look after themselves, stay independent and connect with the local community.
At the same time, we refreshed the homepage on kent.gov.uk for Adult Social Care Services. This area is designed to help you find the right care and support options available to you.

We would like to ask for your help in testing both websites to check that we are providing the right level of information for Kent residents to access care and support services. We have a responsibility to support people with specific needs to live independent and fulfilled lives in their local community. We do this by providing information, advice and guidance, as well as support services.
We want to ensure you feel empowered in making your own decisions about what will help you to live a healthy, fulfilled, and independent life.
We offer support to people who are over 18 years old. These are people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities, mental health problems or autistic spectrum conditions. We will also support older people, those who provide care and support to family and friends and those supported by Children’s Social Services who are approaching 18 years old and may require support from Adult Social Care.
Your feedback matters!
We would like to ask for your help in testing these areas of the websites and for you to tell us what you think of the changes we have made. You can do this by
visiting either one or both of the websites
having a look at what we have done and see if we have missed anything or if anything could be improved
and tell us your thoughts by completing either or both of our surveys below with your feedback

We're looking for your help!
We are developing an online Needs Assessment, to help people to help themselves by answering some questions about their situation and circumstances. The answers to the questions will provide a tailored response with self-help options available to the person.
We are looking for someone to work with us to develop this form to make sure we get the language and content right. If you are interested, please get in touch with renu.purvis@kent.gov.uk.
