Highfield Close, Saltwood in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 19: Waiting Restrictions
The effect of this proposed Order would be to place single yellow lines (SYL) no parking Mon-Fri 8am-4pm on the following lengths of road in Saltwood, Folkestone and Hythe:-
Highfield Close – (1) On the east side from its junction with Sandling Road for a distance of 79 metres in a southerly direction. (2) On the west side from its junction with Sandling Road for a distance of 91 metres in a southerly direction.
This order is proposed for the following reasons:
for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs
for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians).
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
