Byway Open to All Traffic HE379 and Restricted Byway HE380 at Paddlesworth Definitive Map Modification Order

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map and Statement, by recording a way - partly at Byway Open to All Traffic and partly at Restricted Byway status - known as Resdole Lane at Paddlesworth.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council must make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist.

Further details about the application (including how to respond) and a plan showing the proposal can be found by viewing the Documents section.

The deadline for responses is Friday 19 June 2026.
