Hastings Road, Hawkhurst in Tunbridge Wells - Amendment 14: Speed limit order

The effect of this made Order will be to extend the current speed limit to 40mph on Hastings Road in Hawkhurst, Tunbridge Wells – from a point 211 meters south of its junction with Stream Lane extend the existing 40mph speed limit by 355 meters in a southerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
