Harrison Way, in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 14: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to place double yellow lines on the following length of roads in Sevenoaks:-

  • Harrison Way – (1) On the northern arm on the north east side from its junction with Bradbourne Park Road for a distance of 71 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the northern arm on the south west side for a distance of 68 metres in a north westerly direction with a break for an access point. (3) On the southern arm on the north east side from its junction with Bradbourne Park Road for a distance of 70 metres in a north westerly direction. (4) On the southern arm on the south west side from its junction with Bradbourne Park Road for a distance of 69 metres in a north westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

    Following the statutory consultation period, the scheme has been reviewed and the decision has been taken to make this Order permanent.

    Anyone may, by application to the High Court by 23 February 2026, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
