Grovehurst Road, Sittingbourne in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 22: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of the Order is to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines on the following length of road in Sittingbourne, Swale:-

  • Grovehurst Road – On its west side from a point in line with the southern boundary of 107 Grovehurst Road for a distance of 24 metres in a southerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.


The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
