Frith Road in the District of Dover - Amendment 6: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce or amend double yellow lines (DYL) no waiting restrictions at any time on the following length of roads in Dover:-

  • Castle Avenue – on the south west side place school keep clear markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4.00pm across the entrance to Dover Grammar School for Girls
  • Frith Road – (1) on the east side remove the school keep clear markings (2) on the east side place DYL from the southern boundary of 30 Frith Road for a distance of 71 metres in a northerly direction joining up the lines with the bus stop clearway (3) on the west place an unrestricted parking bay between the junctions of St Alphege Road and Avenue Road.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preventing damage to the road or to any building on or near the road.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
