Restricted Byways EE494 and EE495 at Northbourne and Sholden - Definitive Map Modification Order 2022

Consultation has concluded

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map, by recording a new Restricted Byway running between How Bridge at Finglesham (in the parish of Northbourne) and the Hacklinge Pumping Station (in the parish of Sholden).

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council may make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist.

UPDATE 01/06/2022: This Order has now been confirmed and has taken legal effect. A copy of the confirmed Order may be found in the Documents section.
