The Kent County Council (Public Footpath EE461 (Part) Aylesham) Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2023
Consultation has concluded
Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to divert part of Public Footpath EE461 at Aylesham.
Under the Highways Act 1980, an Order may be made to close or divert a Public Footpath, Bridleway or Restricted Byway where it is in the interests of the landowner and/or the public to do so. In considering a proposal, the County Council will have regards to whether the new route is substantially less convenient to the public and the impact the proposed diversion will have on public enjoyment of the route as a whole.
Further details about the application (including how to respond) and a plan showing the proposal can be found by viewing the Public Notice, Public Path Order and the Statement to Accompany in the Documents section.
