Cyclamen Road, Swanley in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 7: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this made Order will be to remove a section of shared residents parking with limited bays outside 4 Cyclamen Road due to a new access and add double yellow lines (DYL) on Cyclamen Road in Sevenoaks – on the north side from a point 25 metres from its junction with Philip Avenue remove the SYL and 3 metres of shared use bay and replace with DYL for a distance of 12.5 metres in a westerly direction.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

    Following the statutory consultation period, the scheme has been reviewed and the decision has been taken to make this Order permanent.

    Anyone may, by application to the High Court by Monday 6 October 2025, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
