Cyclamen Road, Swanley in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 7: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to remove a section of shared residents parking with limited bays outside 4 Cyclamen Road due to a new access and add double yellow lines (DYL) on Cyclamen Road in Sevenoaks – on the north side from a point 25 metres from its junction with Philip Avenue remove the SYL and 3 metres of shared use bay and replace with DYL for a distance of 12.5 metres in a westerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
