Crown Quay Lane, Sittingbourne in the Borough of Swale - Amendment 15: Waiting Restrictions

The effect of this proposed Order would be to introduce no waiting at any time double yellow lines on Crown Quay Lane in Sittingbourne, Swale:- (1) on the east side from a point 18 metres north of its roundabout junction with Eurolink Way for a distance of 28 metres in a northerly direction then between points 55 and 80 metres, between points 101 and 175 metres, between points 185 metres and 202 metres, between points 230 and 241 metres, between points 246 and 305 metres, between points 310 and 360 metres and then between points 377 and 392 metres (2) on the west side from a point 185 metres from its junction with Seddingbourne Way extend the existing line for a distance of 27 metres in a northerly direction then between points 31 and 51 metres and then between points 78 and 86 metres.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
