Canterbury Road, Littlebourne in Canterbury - Amendment 12: Speed limit order

Consultation has concluded

The effect of this made Order will be to reduce the existing speed limit of 50mph to 30mph on the following Canterbury Road in Littlebourne, Canterbury at the junction with The Hill 100 metres and extend to 30MPH for the same distance.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising

Following the statutory consultation period, the scheme has been reviewed and the decision has been taken to make this Order permanent.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court by 4 July 2022 at 12:00 midday challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
