Broad Street, Lyminge in the District of Folkestone and Hythe - Amendment 7: Speed Limit Order

The effect of this proposed Order would be to reduce the current speed limit to 30mph on Broad Street in Lyminge, Folkestone and Hythe - from a point 10 metres south of its junction with Greenbanks for a distance of 96 metres in a southerly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • avoid the danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
