Public Bridleways CB295 (part), CB289 and CB291 at Bishopsbourne - Definitive Map Modification Order 2023
Consultation has concluded
Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map, by upgrading part of Public Footpath CB295 and the entirety of Public Footpaths CB289 and CB291 to Bridleway status.
As no objections were received, the Order has been confirmed by the County Council.
The Order became operative as from 26 June 2023, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53(3)(c)(ii) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 to the Act have not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 14 July 2023 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
A copy of the confirmed Order and Notice can be found in the Documents section.
