Bridleway EE490 at Eastry in Dover - Definitive Map Modification Order 2020

Consultation has concluded

We have received an application to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map, by recording a new Bridleway running between Monkeys Hill at Heronden and Thornton Lane in the parish of Eastry.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council may make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist.

In this case, a Definitive Map Modification Order has been made to record the route subject to the application. Following advertisement of the Order, one objection has been received and therefore, as required, the matter has been referred to the Planning Inspectorate for determination.
