Bradbourne Vale Road, Sevenoaks in the District of Sevenoaks - Amendment 58: Waiting Restrictions
Consultation has concluded
The effect of this proposed Order would be to install or amend existing waiting restrictions on Bradbourne Vale Road in Sevenoaks:-
- on the north side from a point 12 metres west of the eastern boundary of Capital House remove 5 metres of double yellow lines in a westerly direction
- on the north side from a point 27 metres west of the eastern boundary of Capital House remove 10 metres of double yellow lines in a westerly direction
- on the south side remove the double yellow lines from the junction with St Johns Road to the entrance of the Council Offices and replace with double yellow lines and floating parking bays between as follows (a) from the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 33.3 metres in a westerly direction (b) from a point 39.3 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 14.5 metres in a westerly direction (c) from a point 59.3 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction (d) from a point 84.3 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 10.5 metres in a westerly direction (e) from a point 100.8 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 15.7 metres in a westerly direction (f) from a point 131 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 7.9 metres in a westerly direction (g) from a point 151.9 metres west of the junction with St Johns Road for a distance of 15.2 metres in a westerly direction
- on the south side from the entrance to the Council Offices for a distance of 6.3 metres in an easterly direction
- on the south side from a point 6.3 metres east of the entrance to the Council Offices place a bus stop clearway for a distance of 15.2 metres in an easterly direction
- on the south side from its junction with Bradbourne Road for a distance of 47 metres in a westerly direction.
This proposed order is being made for the following reasons:
- for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
- for facilitating the passage on the road or any other road of any class of traffic (including pedestrians)
- for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.
The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
