Public Footpaths AW25 (part) and AW93 (part) at Egerton Definitive Map Modification Order 2026

Kent County Council has received an application, and subsequently made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map and Statement, by amending the alignment of Public Footpaths AW25 and AW93 at Egerton.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council must make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a public right of way which is not shown on the map is reasonably alleged to subsist, and where it is also considered that there is no public right of way which is shown on the map as a highway.

Further details about the application (including how to respond) and a plan showing the proposal can be found by viewing the Order, Notice, and Statement in the Documents section.

The deadline for responses is 13 November 2026.
