Appledore Road, Tenterden in the Borough of Ashford - Amendment 21: Speed Limit Order

The effect of this proposed Order would be to reduce the existing 40mph speed limit to 30mph speed limit on Appledore Road in Tenterden, Ashford – from a point 45 metres south east from its junction with East Hill for a distance of 922 metres in a south easterly direction.

This order is proposed for the following reasons:

  • avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
  • for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which the road runs.

The scheme will be reviewed so that the Council can make the decision to make the Order permanent, amend or abandon it.
