Kent County Council has made an Order, to amend the legal record of Public Rights of Way, known as the Definitive Map and Statement by amending the alignment of Public Footpath AE467 (part) at Aldington.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, the County Council may make an Order to modify the Definitive Map where it is considered that a right of way subsists or is reasonably alleged to subsist.

    On the 05 July 2022 Kent County Council confirmed the above Order under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This Order came into force on 05 July 2022.

    If a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, they can make an application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the 08 July 2022.
