A28 Ashford Road, St Michaels, Tenterden - Proposed Signal Controlled Pedestrian Crossing
Consultation has concluded
We sought your views on a proposal to install a new signalised pedestrian crossing on the A28 Ashford Road outside Spires assisted living residential premises.
This crossing would replace the current non-signalised pedestrian crossing, which does not provide adequate crossing facilities, particularly for vulnerable and mobility impaired users.
A new signal-controlled crossing would give pedestrians sufficient time to cross the road safely whilst traffic is held and will be designed to meet national standards.
