Various roads in Folkestone & Hythe - Waiting Restrictions: Consolidation Order 2021

The effect of this made Order will be to consolidate all waiting restrictions and street parking places amendments.

This order has been made for the following reasons:

  • consolidate all stopping, waiting and loading prohibitions and restrictions and parking place provisions in all roads within the District Council of Folkestone & Hythe as marked and signed on street; and
  • present the provisions for all stopping, waiting and loading prohibitions and restrictions and parking places in a new Map-based Traffic Regulation Order without change to those provisions, as currently marked and signed on street.

The Order came into effect on the 3 December 2021

Anyone may, by application to the High Court by 17 January 2022, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement to the Orders.
